Kevin Jones
My passion for sport goes back to my childhood where as a child at school I enjoyed the experience and opportunity to participate in a number of activities in and outside of school from football to gymnastics. As an adult, I would like to provide these opportunities to other children by providing schools and parents with high quality PE and activities.
My current interests include cricket and football where I have represented Stevenage Cricket Club since 2002 and now manage and coach the Stevenage under 12 sides on a regular basis. My achievements include promotion in 2009 and performance of the year as well in 2009.
Since graduating from De Montfort in 2007 I have built up a wealth of experience coaching in schools and the community throughout the South East. This involved delivering high quality PE within the schools Curriculum. Throughout Hertfordshire I have delivered the following activities, Athletics, Games, Dance and Gymnastics to children of all primary school ages. In addition, during school term time I have delivered a number of high quality sport activity camps to children aged 4-11, providing children with a number of new exciting activities and experiences. I have also helped deliver a number of voluntary projects with local charities such as the ‘Up Front Football Project' aimed at providing sporting provision in the evenings to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour in young adults.
